Privacy Policy
This explains what TradesAI collects, why, and the control you have. Cyberesia SA is the data controller for TradesAI.
1What we process
- Account data — email address, authentication credentials or tokens, and profile preferences you choose (language, country, trade, experience level, answer style).
- Job-site photographs and case content — images, questions, intents, and AI responses you create. Images you ask TradesAI to analyse are sent to our servers and to our AI providers to produce your result.
- Legal acknowledgements — acceptance of the in-app safety disclaimer and its version, so we know which terms you agreed to.
- Subscription and purchase data — entitlement and trial status via Apple, Google and our payments / subscription provider (for example RevenueCat). We do not receive your full card details.
- Product and operational events — privacy-preserving events such as whether onboarding, a case, or a generation completed, together with technical identifiers needed for security and abuse prevention. We do not put raw private photo bytes into analytics events.
- Diagnostics — crash and error reports (for example via Sentry) to keep the service stable. These may include device and app technical metadata.
- Support correspondence — if you email us, the content of that exchange.
2Why we process it
- To create and secure your account, and to provide the AI case workflow you request.
- To personalise answer style and language based on the preferences you set.
- To manage trials, subscriptions, quotas and restore purchases.
- To monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and improve the product without training on your private photos.
- To meet legal obligations and respond to support requests.
3Who processes it for us
To run TradesAI we use infrastructure and service providers acting as processors for us, including hosting and database providers, object storage for uploads, AI providers (vision and language) to generate case answers, email delivery for verification and password reset, subscription / billing processors with Apple and Google, and crash reporting. These providers process data only to provide their services to us under contractual safeguards.
4What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use your photographs or case content to train AI models.
- We do not run third-party advertising SDKs in the MVP product.
5Retention
Account and case data are kept while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Images and case materials are retained to deliver history, export, and support features, and are removed when you delete a case or your account, subject to short-lived backups and legal holds where required. Images sent for AI processing are used to generate your result and are not kept by us longer than needed to operate the service. Pseudonymous operational and product events are retained only as long as necessary to secure and improve the service. Crash logs are retained according to our diagnostics provider’s settings and our operational needs.
6Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you may access, correct, delete, or export your data, and object to certain processing. In the app you can export your account data and request account deletion. For anything else held by us, contact us below. Deleting your account removes associated account and case data from our systems as described above; cancel any App Store or Google Play subscription separately in the store.
7Children
TradesAI is not directed at children under 16 and is not intended for their use.
8International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries outside Switzerland or the EEA. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for those transfers.
9Changes
We will post any changes here and, if significant, notify you in the app.
